Job Description
The Sales Operations Coordinator will work directly with the Vice President of Sales to support market penetration, sales processes, strategies, and administrative needs. This role ensures a quality customer experience, collaborates on sales initiatives, and assists in their implementation. The ideal candidate is a positive, energetic, goal-oriented, and constructive member of the SumnerOne team, upholding high ethical and professional standards, communicating constructively, and contributing to a positive company culture. Punctuality, preparedness, and adherence to company guidelines are essential.
Requirements:

Assist the sales team with order paperwork, processing, and administrative support

Prepare formal bids, manage collaborative sales resources, and support sales initiatives

Support client needs during the absence of Account Managers

Provide coaching and support for sales pipeline management and order processes

Assist with database training and improvements

Organize strategic data for marketing initiatives and follow up on client experiences to ensure customer satisfaction

Collaborate on and support sales initiatives, including planning and execution of marketing events

Act as a resource for manufacturer programs and cooperative contracts
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a similar position preferred

Proficient with sales databases, selling processes, order workflows, and customer service standards

Drive and passion to support a fast-paced, high-energy, goal-driven sales environment

Excellent communication, with strong organization skills

Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus

Strong relationship-building skills and a passion for seeking win/win/win outcomes (client/self/company)

General understanding and utilization of Microsoft Office programs.
