Job Title: Project/Program Manager IT 4
Location: Chicago, IL (3 days on-site and 2 days remote)
Duration: 12 Months
Daily Schedule: Monday- Friday; 1st shift
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
Strategic
Proactive oversight of ** Digital’s real estate portfolio in line with workforce growth plan, hybrid work needs, and capacity requirements
Lead cross functional project management teams across Human Resources, Finance, IT, Real Estate, Facilities, Branding and other business units co-located in sites with ***Digital to address future workplace needs
Utilize external benchmarking to research facilities design and technology support which optimize ways of working and maximize collaboration for a hybrid work model
Leverage benchmarking, the voice of the employee and voice of the business to optimize schedule, understand how locations are being utilized, and make recommendations for the future
Evaluation of lease agreements, including development of best practices and establishment of standard features for a flexible work model
Managing multiple complex projects in parallel and proactively identifying needs across multi-million-dollar real estate portfolio finding opportunities for cost avoidance and savings .
Operational
Upkeep safety information for all ** Digital hubs in an easily accessible location for employees
Optimize office, cubical, collaboration space, and common area layout to support future needs of hybrid work in locations where ** Digital has critical mass. Ensure consistency across all global **** Digital hubs.
Assess and determine what tools are needed to support flexible work environment and work cross functionally to implement where appropriate (including desk reservation system, visual aids for wayfinding at sites)
Develop tools/dashboard to assess office utilization, enabling self-service for leader use if needed
Drive effectiveness of hoteling system and manage unique cases with IT and facilities
Point of contact for and management of ***** Digital neighborhood seating assignments, utilization, and monitoring
Main point of contact for ****** Digital on all global building related topics; liaison between Global Facilities Management and **** Digital leadership on facilities and office administration topics
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
8+ years of real estate, facilities, or other related experience
Technical Skills
Experience with capacity planning and floor plan design
Previous experience managing large scale complex projects, preferably with a global scope
(Desired)
Experience with open floor plan or other progressive office design concepts
Previous experience supporting a technical organization, specifically software engineering teams
Management of a global real estate portfolio footprint
Excellent analytical ability, project management skills, oral and written communications skills, and experience in working with engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, and maintenance/construction companies
Must have the ability to deal with a wide variety of individuals within the company and suppliers of services and equipment
