Administrative Assistant
SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to facilitate the efficient operation of the assigned department. This position is to aid with administrative duties collaborating with various departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers and transfers phone calls, screen when necessary
- Welcomes and directs visitors and clients
- Maintains filing systems as assigned
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when requested
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquires and questions
- Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings
- completion of non-clinical assessments,
- obtaining patient satisfaction surveys, data entry and faxing,
- Coordinates and completes guest contracts, medical records requests,
- Coordinates and schedules transportation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
