Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Conduct physical examinations and record patient vital signs
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy
- Provide care for patients in critical care, hospice, occupational health, or other specialized areas as required
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic for documentation
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Current LPN license in [state]
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and adults
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and assessing patient conditions
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and treatment protocols
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
