Residential Landscape Architect/Sales Representative
NatureWorks , a leading landscape design, construction, and property care firm servicing the Boston suburbs, is seeking a Landscape Architect/Sales Representative to join our national award-winning team.
In this role, you will work directly with high-end residential homeowners, identifying, designing, estimating, and selling landscape enhancements such as plantings, patios, outdoor kitchens, walls, walkways, plantings, lighting, and irrigation. This position involves client and vendor interaction and is a mix of field and office work. As the main point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for guiding them from the initial call through to the start of construction.
Position Description
- Contribute to growth and development of our design offering
- Oversee field inventory, site analysis, and design development
- Supervise drafting and rendering of design solutions by others
- Estimate construction costs and create contracts
- Sell design and construction work
- Manage construction documentation for the production team
- Conduct site visits during project construction
- Communicate with clients and the design and construction teams
- Complete municipal permitting applications, as required
- Demonstrate role model behaviors in ethics, integrity, and promoting company culture
- Create stunning and creative landscapes that are based on sound horticultural practices, add value to the landscape, and enrich our clients’ living environments
- Produce professional design presentations, graphics, and renderings that are visually compelling
- Contribute to general sales and marketing efforts
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent experience
- 5+ years landscape design experience working with high-end residential customers
- Proficiency in Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Have a strong command of fundamental design principals and an elevated aesthetic
- Prior sales or extensive client service experience
- Excellent design and presentation skills
- Team player with the drive to learn and grow as well as teach others.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

- Up to 20-30% of week can be work from home with balance of time at Wellesley Studio and client homes
