We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to provide Speech Therapy and Feeding Therapy services to children and young adults of varying diagnoses in an outpatient setting. We are looking for an independent, energetic, and reliable individual for our Eden Prairie location.
Position Details:
Potential candidates will be responsible for evaluation, intervention planning and treatment for children and adults with various diagnoses. Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations as necessary
- Make appropriate recommendations for therapy frequency and intensity
- Complete all documentation, including initial evaluation reports, treatment plans, daily treatment notes, and discharge reports
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Conduct training with caregivers to ensure generalization of skills across environments
- Maintain MN Department of Health Licensure and ASHA Certification
Education and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed by the MN Department of Health
Experience:
- Prior experience preferred
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team of professionals
- Ability to empathize with parental concerns and provide suggestions for speech and language carryover at home
- Ability to plan, organize and manage time efficiently
