The Respiratory Therapist full time Monday-Friday for in-facility Clinical Respiratory Services Program must be properly credentialed.
Responsibilities:
- Patient assessment.
- Complete patient files and paperwork as per current policy and procedures and any appropriate paperwork, as assigned.
- Set‑up equipment and/or supplies as necessary. Set up equipment; CPAP, Bi-Level, air compressor, and oxygen equipment
- Provide education to patients and families.
- Serve as liaison between patient and other members of the Health Care team, when required.
- Instruct patients, caregivers, physicians and physicians staff on the proper use of respiratory equipment and necessary cleaning requirements.
- Complete progress reports and necessary billing information and submits in a timely manner.
- Assist other staff and perform other duties, as assigned by management.
- Data collection for outcomes measurements
- Adhere to all TGP documentation policies and procedures.
- Completes annual in-services to meet compliance requirements
- Carries out other tasks as requested by Manager.
Qualifications:
- RRT, RCP, CRT or eligible and meeting the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) requirements.
- Valid state(s) Respiratory Care license.
- Must possess good people skills, be able to follow up.
- Must be detail oriented and well organized.
