Job Summary:
Brickmont of Woodstock is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a full-time Cook. This role will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious and nutritious meals for our residents in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong cooking skills, and the ability to work well in a team. This individual will have the opportunity to work at a premier hospitality and restaurant setting in Woodstock, Georgia.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $17 to $18 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, the selected candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook all meals according to established recipes and menus, ensuring food quality and presentation meets company standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, following food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of meals and provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize food waste.
- Train and assist other kitchen staff as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience as a cook in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must have or obtain a Food Handler's License.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
