We are currently seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Representative with sales experience in the food service industry to join us in our expansion efforts, focusing on setting inspection appointments and closing new service contracts. SDI Quality offers diversified services, primarily focusing on the preventative maintenance and cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. These essential grease vapor extraction systems must be cleaned at specified frequencies to maintain fire safety in accordance with NFPA fire codes.
Our certified inspectors often find these systems in major hotels and other facilities neglected by their current service providers, creating a potentially hazardous situation with layers of sticky and highly flammable cooking grease. Our comprehensive cleaning services restore these systems to fire-safe conditions, ensuring compliance with NFPA codes, most commonly on a quarterly basis.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of verifiable success in cold calling, appointment setting, and phone-based sales.
- Sales experience in the food service industry.
- Exceptional verbal and persuasive writing abilities.
- Technical mindset with effective abilities to communicate findings and sell service contracts.
- Ability to penetrate gatekeeper systems to reach key decision-makers on the phone.
- Strong knowledge of managing and progressing deals through the sales cycle.
- Fast learning ability to articulate the value proposition of SDI Quality's services over the phone.
- Unwavering desire to succeed by becoming an expert in the trade.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Systematic approach to maintaining CRM pipeline, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Knowledge of kitchen exhaust cleaning or related services is a plus.
- Dynamic team player with a competitive mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to new potential client facilities in our extensive database, introducing SDI’s services, and generating new business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue discussions with key decision-makers through effective research and communication with facility gatekeepers.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for expanding the customer base and achieving sales targets and beyond.
- Set appointments for the site inspection team, ensuring a smooth handover of relevant details necessary for inspection appointments to commence successfully.
- Prepare a prospecting plan for the following day.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities and performance metrics.
