Quality Assurance Coordinator
Job Description:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies, quality manual, procedures, and process as per standards defined by FDA, cGMP & HACCP, SQF, AIB and other applicable standards. Work toward recognition and/or certification from these bodies for all Komplete Group Inc. Business.
- Determine needs to and implement a Quality Management System.
- Conduct periodic internal audits of all business and assist in or lead audits conducted by regulatory agencies and customers.
- Identify and attend training required to meet the job responsibilities.
- Conduct hazard analyses, identify critical control points and preventive measures, establish critical limits, and develop monitoring procedures, corrective actions and verification procedures according to HACCP and recognized GFSI scheme.
- Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits, investigate customer complaints, collaborate with other members of management to develop respective procedures, training methods, and easily accessible documentation management system.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, validations and re-validations.
- Update job knowledge by studying trends in developments in quality management, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
- Assigned SQF Practitioner and PCQI.
- Oversee the development, implementation, review and maintenance of the SQF system, including food safety fundamentals.
- Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF System and GMPs.
- This position will report to senior management and the President of the company.
Skills and Qualification:
5yrs experience in Food Production, SQF and HACCP systems. Process Improvement, Problem Solving, Analyzing Information, Verbal & Written Communication, Good Documentation Practices, Emphasizing Excellence, Attention to Detail.
