Client: Investment Banking firm
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will play a critical role in managing, enhancing and leading the execution of our software release processes in the lower environments, UAT and Production. They will support certain strategic programs including Salesforce, Enterprise Data Architecture, and Cloud Migration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Quality Assurance, DevOps, Operations, Infrastructure, Support) and the project teams to prepare for upcoming releases including identifying dependencies, sequencing and rollback plans
- Utilize the Azure DevOps platform to manage version control of code and related artifacts. The candidate will create the release candidates and ensure that they are moved up the lower environments successfully. They will communicate the status of the release, user stories/bug fixes included in the release, and identify any risks or issues that need to be escalated to the appropriate teams for resolution
- File the appropriate paperwork and attend Change Advisory Board calls to obtain approval for upcoming production deployments
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including release scope, release notes, deployment processes and post-release reporting
- Implement appropriate processes to monitor the health of a release and facilitate rollback procedures when needed. The candidate must be available to provide support during NY business hours and have flexibility to support off-hours deployment windows
- Identify opportunities to continually optimize processes
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role delivering large enterprise software
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Azure DevOps/Jira), ServiceNow change management, Salesforce.com, and the Microsoft technology stack
- Hands-on experience with all aspects of release management such as setting best practice guidelines, managing code packages, resolving conflicts, maintaining robust release documentation, and coordinating with various internal teams
- Willing to work Eastern Time business hours and support off-hours deployments
- Flexibility to commute to NYC for critical meetings.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience with git workflow.

Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
