Engage families, caregivers, and teachers with children eight years and under in active play and learning experiences and environments that spark their curiosity, explore their interests, foster their potential and nourish a sense of belonging. Supervision will consist of assisting the Kids’ Castle Manager in day-to-day play area supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

Being on time and ready to start your shift.

Know and enforce safety standards.

Develop rapport with both children and parent/adult caregivers.

Participation in staff planning and meetings as needed.

Cleaning the play area during the daily scheduled closures.

Other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Experience: Requires six months of experience in similar environments such as camp programs or similar programs involving children. Early Childhood Education is recommended. Other experience may be considered appropriate in lieu of the aforementioned.

Interpersonal Skills: Must possess excellent communication skills, be patient and persuasive in dealing with children, and be able to communicate special problems and problem-solving ideas to The Kids’ Castle staff. Must be outgoing, friendly, flexible and comfortable approaching and engaging with families.

Analytical Ability: Routine and non-recurring problem-solving skills are required.
