We are hiring a hybrid position where you will work part time in an office setting and out selling on farms/stables/businesses. You would have the opportunity to engage current and potential customers, consulting on equine and cattle nutrition while also engaging in our office and learning how to handle in office processes.
Essential Job Functions:
- Consulting – Speak with current customers on their herds/animals nutritional needs and make suggestions for any concerns they may have or on potential ingredient or feeding process improvements they can make
- Business Development in Sales - Conduct targeted prospect calls to develop new business growth
- Business Development in Marketing – Attend tradeshows and network growing our brand and customer base
- Customer Relations - Work in our office waiting on customers and entering orders
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Passion for and a solid understanding of the equine and cattle specie groups
- Knowledge of animal nutrition and management practices
- The ability to build relationships and having a high EQ
- Self starter - having an internal drive to succeed and grow
- Basic computer skills
- Detail oriented and organizational skills
The compensation for this role is negotiable and dependent upon previous experience, education, and previous success in the industry. This role would have a base salary with bonuses and commissions based on growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
