Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Data Entry/Customer Service employee to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
**To clarify, you will not be answering phones. Everything comes through emails. Lots of emails. We need help entering customer information in a complex system, that can be repetitive. You will also respond to customers, with information we give you. Right now we are posting 20+ hours a week, not knowing how many hours this role will need at first. In a few months, it will need 30-40.
If you have bookkeeping experience, or sales support, we could add more hours to your week. If you are willing to learn other things, we can add more hours.
This role is 100% remote. Your training will be remote. You must be comfortable or willing to learn Teams / video conferencing. If you need one on one training we can meet at a public location. We work out of our home, we are not asking anyone to come here. We hope to open an office by Q2 2025. Depending on where you are, and how your job is going, you might still be able to work remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries via email promptly and professionally.
- Data Entry: A large part of this position is data entry. It needs to be with high accuracy.
- ERP System Management: Use our ERP system to organize and streamline the order process.
- Sales and Accounting Support: Assist sales and accounting departments with their activities, providing necessary support.
- Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records of inquiries, comments, and complaints.
- Feedback Collection: Gather and report customer feedback to contribute to continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient customer service process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a related field is necessary.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various software and tools for customer support, including ERP systems.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Self-Motivation: Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service, bookkeeping, sales are a plus! We will put your skills to good use! Semiconductor industry knowledge would be helpful, but not necessary.
