Maintenance Director
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Director to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to this position. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
This position maintains and repairs the equipment, operating systems, structure, and grounds of the residence. The Maintenance Director is also responsible for coordinating with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled individual who possesses previous experience in a similar setting, as well as expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance. This candidate will ensure the residence, grounds, and parking area are well maintained, that equipment operates properly and that the residence provides a safe and attractive living and working environment.
Other requirements for the Maintenance Director include, but are not limited to:
- Previous experience in a related trade or position
- Prior experience supervising maintenance and housekeeping personnel; in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- The ability to establish priorities and develop work orders
- Able to complete bid proposals for projects requiring outside contractors or vendors
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting preventative maintenance activities based on the specific residence schedule
- A professional, positive and helpful demeanor at all times
