A Day in the Life of our Senior Network Engineer
Our Senior Network Engineer is responsible for supporting multiple clients on a daily basis with all aspects of logical infrastructure including but not limited to: wired and wireless networks, routers, firewalls, and local/remote cloud. Network Engineers work with internal and external stakeholders on project planning, updating, and maintaining on a weekly basis. This role provides continuous learning opportunities on new/legacy hardware and infrastructure services.

You must be a self motivated and organized individual who enjoys working in complex cloud/on-premise hybrid networking environments.
Daily Objectives
- Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware
- Design and configure L2 and L3 topologies
- Designing logical networks (VLAN/Subnets/routing)
- Designing and configuring highly available network topologies
- IP address management
- Configure and maintain network services such as DHCP, DNS, NTP, etc.
- Deploy and maintain VPN server/client setup
- Configure connectivity between firewalls and cloud services
- Automating mundane networking tasks such as deployment of new devices and VLAN updates
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 to 7 years in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure including firewall, switches, and wireless access points
- Experience designing highly available networking topologies
- Experience with next generation firewall administration
- Experience with the design, implementation, and operational aspects enterprise wireless networks highly preferred
- Experience conducting wireless site surveys
- Experience in 2.4 and 5GHz analysis, mapping and troubleshooting in large environments
- Knowledge of LAN / WAN / WLAN, Wireless security such as WPA (2-3), RADIUS
- Detailed understanding of routing, security policies, and QoS
- Broad familiarity with virtual private cloud (VPC) services : (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Detailed knowledge of network operating systems such as JUNOS, Cisco iOS managed switches
- In depth knowledge of Netconf, DHCP, DNS, NTP, etc.
- Detailed knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Broad experience with Client VPN (GlobalProtect, OpenVPN, SonicWall, Meraki, etc.)

Pay: $145,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
