Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking a part-time Native Speaker Conversation Facilitator in Spanish. This is a salaried, staff, academic-year position. The Conversation Facilitator will conduct small-group foreign language conversation sessions working with students to engage them in conversation and conduct exercises to promote oral fluency in Spanish. Responsibilities also include preparing lesson plans and materials for use in the Native Speaker sessions, evaluating student performance and submitting grades, keeping records of students’ attendance, consulting with supervisor, other Conversation Facilitators and department faculty.
Qualifications include:

Native fluency in Spanish and substantial cultural experience in a country where the language is spoken.

Good general conversational and interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to students and to engage them in conversations and discussions.

Good basic teaching skills, with some relevant experience in teaching preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
