You are a good fit if you:
- Are a fully licensed LCSW-C, LCMFT, LCPC, or Psychologist in Maryland OR provisionally licensed with clinical internship experience or ideally 1 year full-time employment history in an agency, hospital, residential center, etc.
- Can demonstrate at least 1 year of full-time employment as a therapist in a clinic, agency, treatment center, university, hospital, etc.
- Can demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in providing mental health services to 2SLGBTQ+ communities or can share how lived experience has influenced your previous therapeutic work
- Are able to commit to a hybrid practice with at least 2-3 in office days per week and 2-3 telehealth days per week
- Are able to work either 2 evenings per week or one 4 hour weekend day shift
- Can work 25 direct clinical hours weekly as a full-time clinician (optional to work over 25 clinical hours per week for higher rate)
- Have a track record of connecting with and retaining clients
- Have a track record of positive and authentic relationships with previous management, co-workers, and clients, modeling honest and empathetic communication
- Have a consistent history of maintaining required documentation in a timely manner
- Will not be working at another group practice or your own private practice while employed with us, other part-time settings may be okay and can be discussed in interviews
We are specifically seeking clinicians currently who can work with gender expansive children and their families and/or with couples and polyamorous relationships. We really want someone who is able to see most of the clients we serve (children through adults, couples and individuals). This position is only for a candidate able to offer in person sessions in Baltimore City, as well as some telehealth sessions.
This position is not right for you if you’re:
- Someone who doesn’t feel passion for our mission, vision and values.
- Someone who prefers to only focus on their own goals and desires.
- Someone who wants to own their own business in the next 1-2 years or have full decision making power at work. If that’s you, that’s solid! But we’re not the place for you. We invest in our clinicians, and encourage each member of our team to get creative in their role. Our practice can fulfill its mission when every member of the team is doing their part and supporting one another. The ideal person is invested in time and energy in Reclaim and Rise Therapy and is comfortable working under a supervisor or Director.
- Someone who doesn’t like to help others or brainstorm strategies to support teammates.
- Someone who wants to show up each week to a full calendar and consistent check without ever having to do any personal networking, free workshops, spreading the word about what they do in the community, etc. We do a ton of online marketing, but personal relationships and creative ways of connecting with potential referral sources is necessary in private practices and work best when clinicians are willing to build those professional connections. We require some regular outreach efforts while you're building your caseload. Sometimes that looks like tabling events that you already want to be at :)
