The ideal candidate will have administrative experience in a construction-electrical-related industry. The successful candidate will also maintain a professional, pleasant demeanor and is highly proficient in multi-tasking.
The assistant project manager reports directly to the project manager or Senior Project Manager. Assists in all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, RFI’s and updates, and schedule to ensure projects are completed in a quality, profitable, safe, sustainable, and timely manner. Maintain a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer needs and expectations by supporting the Project Manager in all aspects of assigned project-related administrative functions, including:
- Organization, set-up, and assembly of all new job information in accordance with Project Manager specifications
- Maintain and update a current CPM schedule at the Jobsite at the Project Manager's direction
- Maintain orderly documentation of all field purchases
- Schedule equipment and materials at the Project Superintendent's direction
- Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents
- Write RFI's as directed by the Project Superintendent
- Visit the job sites on a weekly basis
- Monitors the field manpower’s production
- Assist in the tracking and completion of billing -G703 & G704

Electrical Project Manager Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task with efficient and thorough follow-up
- A College degree or electrical journeyman’s license is preferred
- Project management experience preferred +5 years
- Understanding of electrical installations
- A good understanding of how to read electrical drawings
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Advanced Word and Excel), as these are required for use in completing assignments
- Maintain composure while working under time constraints and project deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and initiative
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Strong computer skills required
