The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for directing and supervising all functions of the food service department in keeping with nutritional guidelines, facility policies/procedures, and food service budget.
Dietary Manager Responsibilities
- · Run day-to-day operations within the department
- · Manage food service employees scheduling, hiring, performance management
- Implement procedures that provide for courteous service, dining ambiance and high quality food production and
- · Prepare meals by planned menus and make only authorized food substitutes.
- · Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders
- · Review care plans as necessary to ensure that the resident's dietary needs are being met
- · Provide nutrition counseling with assistance from a registered dietitian
- · Work as part of the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth operation within the facility
Qualifications:
- Valid CA certification
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Minimum of 2 years Dietary experience

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
