We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Clerk-Typist to join our team. As a Senior Clerk-Typist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records and documents, as well as providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for producing error-free typed material, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and assisting with various clerical tasks.
The ideal candidate for this role is a fast and accurate typist with strong attention to detail. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, you should be proficient in using office equipment such as typewriters and word processors, and have a good understanding of general office procedures.
Responsibilities
- Produce error-free typed material such as letters, memos, reports, and other documents
- Review and edit documents for accuracy and clarity
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including picking up and delivering mail
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Assist with data entry and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and greet visitors
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Clerk-Typist or in a similar role
- Fast and accurate typing skills
