Job Summary
The Cloud Communication Specialist (CCS) is a member of 1701’s Sales & Account Management Team, focused on outside sales. Th the CCS identifies, educates, suggests, and ultimately closes prospective clients. This is achieved through various efforts that include calling, emailing, social media posts and attending network events.
Responsibilities
· Conducts outbound and inbound prospecting
· Builds and maintains a solid opportunity pipeline
· Sets up and conducts sales presentations and software demonstrations
· Responds to requests for proposals (RFPs)
· Negotiates and closes agreements
· Achieves sales goals
· Follows up and follows through with sales opportunities
· Records and maintains prospect and customer data
Requirements For a Successful Candidate
This position requires a dedicated sales professional with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in sales, account management or customer service. They have a strong technical aptitude with a clear understanding of the role technology plays in today’s business environment and how it relates with business processes, goals, objectives and outcomes. Although not a requirement, the optimal candidate has an undergraduate degree from a four-year university.
