Description:
Under the direction and supervision of Management, the Investigator is responsible for having the client sign all necessary paperwork to begin their claim. This position is a Part-Time Per Diem paid role and will report to the Intake Department Manager. The person that fills this role will work remotely, but must be centralized in Louisville, KY area.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Strict adherence to attendance and punctuality are essential aspects of the job to ensure client satisfaction.

Conduct client interview to determine relevant facts of injury and claim including the completion of sign-up documentation, gathering of case materials such as pictures, medical records, insurance correspondence, and other relevant information including identified witnesses and contact information, adverse witnesses and medical providers.

Verification of documentation given/taken for accuracy, thoroughness, and relevancy.

Ensure preliminary client concerns are addressed at time of client sign-up, and confirm all relevant documents were executed by client; ensure return of gathered materials and information to specified personnel in a timely manner.

Review and verification of daily scheduled appointments.

Proactively communicate with intake personnel regarding any scheduling issues or client issues that may arise that involve attorney or case manager direction.

Completion and delivery to appropriate personnel of payroll and reimbursement sheet with receipts (if applicable).

Maintain proper routine maintenance of your vehicle, such as oil changes and tire rotation to assure reliability of daily transportation to appointments.
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive for possible extended periods of time.

Must have strong work ethic and be able to work well in a fast paces environment.

Must have great people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks.

Must be well organized and detail oriented.

Must be familiar with relevant laws as it applies to personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents and insurance.

Must have exceptional communication and written skills with the ability to interact with diverse individuals including clients, witnesses and legal professionals.

Must have computer skills including knowledge of word processing software and Microsoft Outlook.

Previous experience in investigative work, preferably in a legal or law enforcement setting.

Knowledge of medical terms and traumatically induced conditions is helpful.

Knowledge of insurance coverage types and policies is helpful.

Must have flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed to conduct investigations.
