Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LCSW/LCPC/LSW/LPC to join our team. As a therapist, you will provide clinical counseling and support to children and adults. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed
- Assess clients' mental health needs, develop and maintain personalized treatment plans
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, to address clients' emotional and behavioral issues
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and improving their overall mental health
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest developments in the field of therapy, counseling
- Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work
- Valid Illinois licensure as a social worker or counselor (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices
- Proven experience in conducting therapy sessions and providing counseling services
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to empathize with clients and establish a therapeutic rapport
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
