Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. If you have experience in project coordination, customer support, and hotel office management, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure smooth operations of all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and administration.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract guests and increase occupancy rates. This may include managing online presence, advertising, and promotions.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality throughout the hotel to meet brand standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Safety and Security: Implement and enforce safety and security protocols to protect guests, staff, and hotel property.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of supplies, equipment, and amenities to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Revenue Management: Monitor room rates, occupancy levels, and competitor pricing to optimize revenue and occupancy rates.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and tourism boards to promote the hotel and foster positive community relations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and brand standards pertaining to hotel operations, safety, and employment practices.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports for owners, franchisors, and management on hotel performance, financials, and operational metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall hotel performance.
- Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff in case of emergencies.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance skills and performance. These duties encompass the broad range of responsibilities typically required of a hotel manager in a franchised establishment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role
- Strong project coordination skills
- Proficiency in calendar management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to proofread and transcribe accurately
- Computer literacy
- Previous experience in an office setting is preferred
