Franchise Business Review (FBR) has worked with thousands of franchise brands and franchisees (business owners and entrepreneurs) measuring and using feedback to make their organizations stronger and more successful. We are looking for a vibrant sales professional to work with our awesome and fast-paced team in our (dog-friendly!) Portsmouth, NH office.

As a vital part of the FBR team, you’ll use a combination of outbound phone calls, email, social media, video, and direct mail to help build our sales pipeline by connecting with prospective clients, uncovering their unique business challenges, and identifying how Franchise Business Review can help them take their franchise system to the next level. You’ll have the opportunity to master your sales skills in a culture that fosters continuous learning and growth.
About you and the skills you need here:
- Minimum of 1-2 years outbound sales experience and closing deals.
- A passion for helping our clients succeed and communicating how we can help prospective clients succeed, too, is a must.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- An eagerness to learn best practices, open to coaching, a willingness to try new things, and a desire to continuously learn.
- A team player who has the ability to work with others to get deals done (we have phenomenal teammates).
- Positive and energetic! Enjoys reaching out- talking (AND listening) to business leaders to uncover and help solve their challenges.
- Comfortable with technology (we use Macs, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Hubspot, LinkedIn, Slack, and our own proprietary survey tool).
- Goal-oriented. Highly motivated and organized, working well without direct supervision; able to ask for direction or additional help when needed.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Be a point of contact for our clients, supporting their questions and needs around current and additional services.
- Conduct account reviews of existing services and projects, and capture current business goals & needs with senior level executives.
- Outbound sales efforts to existing clients about additional services available to them (Individual goals of appointments booked for the team, account reviews, and additional revenue added to existing accounts).
- Proactively identify additional prospects in franchising at existing & new companies.
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and technical teams to drive sales efforts and meet client needs.
- Making online presentations and creating proposals that address prospects’ needs.
- Managing complex deals from inception, navigating introductions, understanding needs & timing, to the close.
