Requirements / Qualifications:
- General and Vascular: 2 years
- Must be a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- ARDMS(ABD) and RDCS and RCS are Plus
- ECHO
- Abdominal
- ABI
- Limited abdominal

- Thyroid / Soft Tissue (Head, neck)
- Scrotum
- Triple A
- Unilateral Venous & Arterial Doppler
- EMR experience preferably Eclinical Works
- Must be computer-literate
- PAC/NAD required (uploading system for images/reports)
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy reports and data
- Extremely organized
- Attention to patient care and comfort
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer duties and responsibilities
- Prepare the diagnostic equipment before appointments
- Discuss the procedure and medical history with patients
- Position the patient to produce the highest-quality images
- Creating images of organs and tissues for diagnostic and assessment purposes using an ultrasound transducer
- Ensure the generated images are clear and capture the necessary information
- Identify potential abnormalities detected with the images
- Provide a summary of the findings and documenting it in patient records
- Communicate with physicians and other medical team members, who use the images to make a diagnosis
- Answer questions about the ultrasound procedure to patients
- Sterilize the room and equipment where the sonogram takes place
- Evaluate the images and interpret their meaning
- Upload images/results to radiologist for interpretation / NRAD
- Strong interpersonal skills
