Job Summary:
We are an independently grown, owned and operated restaurant group, seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager, along with two Shift Supervisors, to oversee the daily service operations in our busy casual dining destinations located in Portland, Oregon.
The General Manager will be responsible for directing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, and daily financial performance. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality to each and every customer.
Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders with vendors
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Interview, hire, onboard and train new employees
- Ensure compliance with all state & federal health and safety regulations
The Shift Supervisors are tasked with leading the service of the day. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality to each and every customer.
Shift Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all state & federal health and safety regulations
General Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively oversee a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work consistent schedule, including weekends
- Comfort and competency working in both front and back of house positions
