Summary of Responsibilities
While under direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the pharmacy technician will assist the Pharmacist by completing all delegated tasks as approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy while abiding by the Florida Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and the organization’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures. The pharmacy technician will assist with the prescription filling process through workflow and all operational functions related to the department as directed by the Pharmacy Manager. Technician will also be required to transport medication to patient homes.
DETAILS OF EDUCATION AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician-preferred
Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician-required
RX30 Experience-preferred
Computer Literacy is a must
Excellent customer service skills
Current & clear driver license
Special Requirement:
Current BLS ( from American Heart Association)
Bilingual ( English / Spanish)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
