Job Overview:
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at NCIA, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with autism. You will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, implementing applied behavior analysis techniques, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Implement applied behavior analysis strategies to address behavioral challenges.
- Work closely with individuals with autism and their families to provide support and guidance.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Utilize medical terminology and special education knowledge in daily practice.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on behavioral therapy techniques.
Requirements:
_ Master's degree in applied behavior analysis.
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and data collection.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual needs and progress.
