What You'll Do:
- Be a Guiding Light: Provide individual and group counseling to children and adolescents, helping them navigate emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Create Safe Spaces: Develop and implement therapeutic programs and activities that foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Empower and Educate: Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers, empowering them to support their children's mental health journey.
- Champion Well-Being: Advocate for the mental health needs of children and adolescents within the community.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with all youth and family members on a consistent basis under the direction of the Mental Health Professional, Site Supervisor, or Senior Mental Health Counselor.
- Participate in weekly consultation sessions with the Mental Health Professional, as well as weekly clinical supervision meetings with the Site Supervisor, Mental Health Professional, Director of Clinical Quality, and A.R.R.T.S. Program Coordinator.
- Serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Maintain professional documentation duties, i.e. Individual Treatment Plan updates, court reports, progress notes, client file documents, behavioral contracts, safety plans, incident reports, and other responsibilities delegated by Site Supervisor, Mental Health Professional, Director of Clinic-$l Qu-lity, and A.R.R.T.S. Program Coordinator.
Rate of Pay: $18.00-$20.00 phr
Who You Are:
- Passionate: You have a deep commitment to supporting the mental health of children and adolescents.
- Qualified: You have the necessary credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field
- Minimum of three years' experience in behavioral healthcare services for children and adolescents. A minimum of two years' experience working directly with abuse or trauma victims. Must have certification in the treatment of sexually aggressive youth in at least a 60-credit hour academic and practicum program with competency evaluation and testing.
