Overview:
This position directly supports and maintains the infrastructure as a service offering of the company while logging information for further analysis and business case decisions.
Duties:
1. Performs quality control inspections to ensure the following:
A. Adherences to contract specifications and client SLA’s
B. Monitoring and recording of electrical, ventilation and air conditioning consumption to pursue and identify areas of concerns
C. Industry standards for project build outs and planning
2. Assists in maintaining supportive tenant-company relationships with key clients and staff; proactively addresses expectations and special needs of clients (within contract agreements).
A. Ensure that work performed in tenant space is accomplished with a minimum of disruption and is followed by appropriate cleanup.
3. Assists in maintaining records and follows calendar for work completed in a neat and organized manner.
4. Inventory maintenance: Keep tools and inventory organized and up to date, verify they are placed in appropriate places
A. Maintain check out procedure for tools
B. Request to purchase inventory items as needed for tool room
5. Strive to conserve energy and general resources in all areas while providing customers with specified electrical and cooling requirements.
6. Assists with facility security measures, including but not limited to performing the duties of Asset Security Representatives
7. Maintain and repair
A. Building interior finishes (floors, walls, including scheduling replacement as necessary)
B. Building exterior (grounds maintenance, painting, coordination with vendors, etc.)
C. Plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, and piping
D. Locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers
8. Escort and monitor Contractors
A. Ensure that work is being completed accurately and thoroughly
B. Provide feedback to Admin team on accuracy of invoices and adherence to contract terms
9. Performs other related duties as assigned
10. Complete special tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, special cleaning, and general maintenance.
Qualifications:
Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Must be proficient in MS office products, clean driving and criminal record required Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations and determine solutions and work around as required with building equipment.
- Ability to maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to develop, implement and perform building projects as required as well as short and long range goals.
- Ability to communicate with vendors.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, assist in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Willing to obtain knowledge of all federal, state and local codes and ordinances pertinent to facility electrical, design, construction and maintenance.
- Knowledge of building trades repairs and maintenance.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
