Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events and venues.
Duties:
- Install and configure audio and video equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, video screens, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables.
- Set up and operate soundboards and other mixing equipment.
- Test equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events.
- Maintain and repair audio visual equipment as needed.
- Provide technical support during events.
Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining audio visual equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and repair.
- Knowledge of electrical systems (E I), low voltage systems, and voltmeter usage.
- Familiarity with cabling techniques and reading schematics.
- Experience in field service for audio visual systems.
- Ability to perform software troubleshooting and basic computer hardware maintenance.
