Job Summary:
Join our team as the Director of Human Resources, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management within our organization. We are seeking a strategic and experienced professional to lead our HR department effectively.
Duties:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Oversee recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Supervise HR staff and ensure smooth operations of the department
- Administer payroll processes using ADP or similar systems
- Handle workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance reviews
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness
- Negotiate with vendors for benefits packages and other HR-related services
- Manage HR budgeting and ensure cost-effective HR operations
Experience:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar senior HR role
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance
- Experience with payroll systems like ADP or Paychex
- Strong background in supervising HR staff and managing complex employee issues
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement projects within the HR department
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial acumen related to HR expenditures
