SUMMARY
York Manufacturing – General Operator processes and converts material in an efficient, systematic, and profitable manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Follow workplace health and safety requirements
· Implement process activities to make a good quality product in assigned Work Area
· Perform production activities in accordance with control plan, engineering drawing, machine program, and Work Area Lead’s direction
· Perform and record production Quality activities in accordance with control plan
· Perform and record operator preventative maintenance activities
· Maintain/organize work center
· Adhere to policies, systems, and procedures
· Communicate with internal customers
· Perform other duties as necessary
· Comply with MCF policies and procedures

· Uses hand tools and small power tools and/or brazing equipment to assemble metal, electrical or mechanical HVAC products in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Brazes assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
· Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
· Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
· Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
· Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
· Performs other related duties as assigned to build assemblies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High School/Technical School Diploma or equivalent work experience
· Oral Communication Skills.
· Written Communication Skills.
· Physical Dexterity.
· Mechanical Skills Education/Experience:

The Manufacturing Facility is moderately temperature controlled facility and the noise level in the work environment is moderate.
During visits to areas of operations an employee may be exposed to moderate temperature conditions and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, machining fluids, and moderate to loud noise.
