The Hampton Inn Ashland (operated by Magnolia Hospitality) is situated in the heart of Virginia, a short mile from Randolph Macon College, and two exits south of King’s Dominion. Awarded the Hilton Award of Excellence three years in a row, our property is well known in the area for its cleanliness, attention to detail, and welcoming staff.
We are currently looking to hire someone able to perform well on both 7a-3p and 3p-11p shifts. Availability for both is required and must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
Hotel experience also is required, with knowledge of PEP being a plus.
Responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent include:
- Greeting guests as you encounter them throughout the hotel.
- Processing guest check-ins and checkouts, efficiently and accurately.
- Answering guest questions and resolving guest requests in a safe, effective manner, staying in compliance with hotel policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Processing guest payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing, and accounting policies and procedures.
- Promptly reporting emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, maintenance injuries, and safety hazards to management.
- Maintaining a clean and inviting lobby during your shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
