Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our upscale restaurant. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Duties:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute menu items
- Oversee kitchen staff and help with training
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet restaurant standards
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Support in banquet and event preparation
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cuisines
- Menu planning and execution expertise
- Proficiency in food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to assist in bartending duties when needed
- Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus
