Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Event Staff. As an Event Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is a paid position that offers opportunities for growth and development in the event management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Promote and sell event-related merchandise and products.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by the event management team.
Customer Service:
- Greet and engage with event attendees, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist guests with finding information about the event, including schedules, locations, and services.
Marketing
- Distribute promotional materials, such as flyers and brochures.
- Gather contact information for potential leads and future marketing efforts.
- Support social media activities by capturing and sharing event highlights and updates.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or marketing is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms
