- Responsible for phone interviewing potential applicants and scheduling in-person interviews.
- Maintain records and coordinate certifications throughout the organization – NMLS, Notary, CSP, Integrity Coaching and Selling, Rex Johnson loan training, etc.
- Develop and coordinate the new hire process for all positions.
- Coordinate staff training throughout the year, including product specific webinars, on-site training and annual all staff training.
- Design, update, and coordinate written and online training materials.
- Conduct needs assessment studies and evaluate employee survey results to determine training programs to be developed and organizational issues to be addressed.
- Create and distribute employee engagement content via email, newsletters, and the intranet.
- Promote and enforce the organization’s service standards.
- Coordinate payroll, training, and licensing for Best Financial Insurance Agency.
- Manage the schedule for and documentation related to the Weekly Connect staff training initiative.
- Work with department managers to create training checklists. Update them as products and services change and coordinate the training timeline.
- Coordinate the orientation and training of all new employees.
- Work with leadership team to develop skills related to human resource functions necessary for day-to-day operations.
- Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for the administration of employee payroll. Ensure accurate and timely remittance to third parties (employees, third party vendors, and government agencies) for payroll, benefits, and taxes.
- Directs the administration of benefit programs to include but not limited to: health, retirement, death, disability, flex spending accounts and unemployment.
- Directs the administration of paid time off programs to include: sick time, personal time, bereavement time, jury duty, holiday, employee engagement, paid parental leave and vacation time.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the employee time off calendar and assisting in employee scheduling as needed.
- Evaluates and recommends improvements to benefit programs.
- Facilitate the process for creating and maintaining individual development plans for all employees
- Assists in creating strategic goals for 90 day action plans, employee reviews, and strategic goal setting.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the progressive warning system. Oversees employee discipline to ensure regulatory compliance and standardization.
- Coordinate and manage the credit union’s fundraising efforts with various charities throughout the community.
- Evaluates procedures and technology solutions to improve human resource data management.
- Responsible for the integrity and security of employment records.
- Evaluates company culture and provides recommendations and action items for changes to accomplish company goals and objectives.
- Recommend and establish company policies and procedures as it relates to human resource and training functions.
- Create, revise and retire job descriptions and classified ad content, as necessary.
- Manage classified ads on the corporate website and employee search engines along with college job boards and local media.
- Oversees the incentive program(s) in order to verify accuracy and ensure that employees receive incentives via payroll.
- Manage the employee recognition platform.
- Monitor and enforce BFCU/BFIA employee apparel branding standards.
- Coordinate ongoing employee engagement efforts including employee events, surveys and committees like Health and Wellness.
