Activities & Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, handle, cool and store all foods properly according to health department guidelines.
- Operate all Pit/Prep equipment safely and effectively
- Check the cook-line throughout the day, supplying them with meats as needed.
- Continually keep pit and prep areas clean and sanitized.
- Record meats that are cooked and track waste according to our guidelines.
Qualifications
- Prior BBQ cooking experience preferred OR cooking experience working with a variety of meats. (Not fast food)
- Must be physically able to lift/carry 75 pounds.
- Must be a motivated, self-starter who stays on-task and stays busy the entire shift.
- Must be reliable and on time. Morning shifts start at 8am.
- Ability to read and follow recipes using proper measurements and instructions.
- Ability to work outside in various types of weather
- Candidates have the ability to pass Serve-Safe Certification. (If requested)
- High school diploma or GED required

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
