Position Summary:
Snyder Diamond is hiring a Project Manager. As a Project Manager you are an integral part of the customer journey. You guide the customer from purchase through delivery & installation. You are the liaison between sales, operations, purchasing and logistics. You are responsible for cultivating strong working relationships with both sales associates and customers, always providing the Snyder Diamond experience.
Essential Job Duties
Work directly with assigned clients/client representatives, going over the details of the project utilizing the Project Scope Checklist to gain in-depth knowledge of scope and timing
Build project schedule. All schedules include milestones and shared with sales associate
Create notifications/alerts tied to project milestones to contact either client/client representatives regarding job status, ordering, payment collection, order pick up, scheduling/installation, job follow-up
Track project status. Make continual contact with client per project schedule. Document all communication in notes and notify sales associate of any substantial issues
Verify status of jobs. Schedule job site inspectors to walk jobs that are at risk of not meeting delivery schedule. Document all communication in notes and notify sales associate of any substantial issues
Receive product readiness confirmation. Get order approval and confirmation the project (or particular stage or project) is ready for the product. If a change order is requested contact sales associate to handle.
Collect customer payments. Prior to placing order, all remaining balances are collected
Assign/unassign inventory to jobs that are ready to be delivered/installed or will call
Contact customer the day of delivery/installation to check on satisfaction of job
Report any job issues to customer service and sales associate. All notes in are recorded in RPS and create a service ticket in RPS
Meet with Manufacturer Reps as required to stay current with product knowledge. Attendance to meetings is mandatory
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on scope management and requirements analysis
- Strong background in project implementation and product management
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with project engineering principles
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively within project teams
