The position of Diagnostic Test Engineer plays a crucial role within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) organization by focusing on designing, developing, and executing diagnostic test procedures for electronic control units (ECUs) and systems. Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering and/or related field
- 5+ years of work experience in Diagnostics/EOL
- Knowledge of analog / digital circuits
- Knowledge of diagnostic standards ODX/PDX
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering and/or related field
- Knowledge of analog / digital circuits
- Knowledge of diagnostic standards ODX/PDX
- 3 + years' Experience with dSPACE ControlDesk NG, CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, CANoe DiVa or similar tools to test Diagnostics
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS, DoIP and related tools to measure and command signals, though scripting
- 5+ Hands on Experience with Diagnostics services
- Hands on Experience with Electrical DTC's, Loss Comm DTC's & Invalid DTC's
- Understanding of Electrical Vehicle Schematics
- ECU D&R or Systems Engineer experience
- Programming Skills (Python or related)
- Test Case development & Automation
