Job Overview
Florida Preparatory Academy is transforming into a STEM Powerhouse. FPA currently offers Electrical and Optical Engineering, Introduction to Engineering, as well as Robotics courses and is looking to expand our STEM based curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong STEM education background and be enthusiastic about implementing project-based learning in High School and Middle School curriculum. An educational background in a STEM-related field is essential, and a passion for working with students and promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and (Mathematics) is a key focus.
Position responsibilities
Teach STEM Courses and Electives: Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Innovation, STEM subjects, fostering a love for learning and exploration among students.
Develop Project-Based Learning Initiatives: Work with the Dean of Academics to design and implement project-based learning activities tailored to the High School and Middle School curriculum, promoting hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field
· Experience working in a STEM-related field – Engineering field preferred
· Knowledge of project-based learning and laboratory safety best practices.
· Enthusiastic about promoting STEM education and working with students
· Comfortable working with High School and Middle School Students

Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
