USACE Louisville is seeking Electrical, Telecommunications, and Fire Alarm engineers with 3+ years of experience for multiple job openings in our Design Branch.
We have a staff of over 70 master planners, architects, interior designers, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers in downtown Louisville. We partner with our in-house civil and structural engineers as the Designer of Record (DOR) on a diverse portfolio of projects for the federal government while focusing on sustainable and high-performance buildings for the Army, Air Force, Navy, VA, USDA, etc.
Our local team of Electrical Engineers are part of multi-discipline design teams and responsible for preparing drawings, specifications, and analysis for facilities across the nation.

Salary
$69,107 - 107,680
Salary and potential recruitment/relocation incentives are based on qualifications and previous experience
All USACE employees participate in a performance evaluation program with end-of-cycle monetary awards
Qualifications
Open to the public (no military experience or enlistment required)
U.S. Citizenship is required
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited school of engineering
3 years minimum experience
Proficient in Autodesk Revit
Prepare preliminary and final design studies, assessments, contract drawings, analyses, design documentation reports, design calculations, technical specifications, and labor/material estimates
Coordinate the design of electrical systems with features designed by other discipline engineers to ensure all systems interact appropriately
Experience providing direction to project teams in resolving complex problems and meeting project milestones and deadlines
Experience in the application of building codes and industry standards
Strong graphic, organization, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary project team
Able to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
