Job overview
The Maintenance Technician Facility is responsible for inspection and maintaining facility equipment.
*
Responsibilities*
- Inspecting heat and air conditioning systems
- Handling basic electrical (e.g. lights receptacle, power support etc.) to complex 480V industrial electrical panel
- Maintaining plumbing for water hoses
- Maintaining tubing for air hoses
- Troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and HVAC
- Inspecting and maintaining company vehicles
- Installing new machines on facility
- Installing, moving and taking down of racks
- Building and property maintenance
- Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards – IATF 16949
- Team Work – working in a Team to fulfill daily production goals
- Escalation of issues to supervisor and manager
- Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI
- Ensuring First in – First out
- Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
- Housekeeping – 5S-Standard
- Other duties assigned

Job Requirements*
Education requirements
- Work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment:
Minimum 4 years
- HVAC certification preferred and plumbing experience required

Physical requirements*
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling up to 35 lbs. using material handling equipment
- Frequent standing, walking, handling, using fingers, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders, climbing, kneeling, bending and working from height
- Occasional sitting and crawling

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
