Supervise implementation and operations of Statistical Process Control Coordinator and Standards/Systems Coordinator. Supervise Audit Function. Interface with standards organizations, registrar and registrars representatives. Act as resource for HCI, HCI Suppliers and Customers on Standards Compliance. Assist in developing and implementing plans for improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Supervise operations of Statistical Process Control Coordinator and Standards/Systems Coordinator.

Reviews and approves Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions as appropriate.

Monitors and reviews SPC implementation and applications.
-
Recommends and assists in developing departmental budget.

Interface with standards organizations, registrar and registrars representatives.

Supervise Internal Audit Functions and Conduct Supplier Quality evaluations.

Act as resource for HCI, HCI Suppliers and Customers on Standards Compliance with ISO-9001: 1994 & 2000; ISO/TS16949; ISO-14001; QS-9000 3rd Edition.
Secondary Functions:

Assist Director of Quality with ways to improve quality.

Coordinate Development Implementation and maintenance of Quality Systems.

Monitor corrective action process and document results of audits to Management.

Performs other duties as needed.
Specialized Training, Skills, Abilities, Experience:

4 year degree or equivalent field.

5-10 years of Quality and automotive experience.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

Office environment with noise from computer peripherals such as mainframe, disk drive and printers.

Factory environment with noise from manufacturing equipment.

May spend time in travel between customers and suppliers using an automobile in high traffic areas.

Exposure to automobile accidents causing bodily injury.

Sometimes lifts, carriers or moves objects – up to 10 lbs. Sometimes objects weighing more than 25 lbs.
