Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Tester
Kurrent Logic is hiring a full-time Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Tester for an immediate client-facing position. This role involves working closely with our customers across multiple custom software development projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will interface with multiple Kurrent Logic development teams and function as the main liaison between the client's key stakeholders (Product Owner) and our Scrum Masters/Software Engineers.
We are looking for a proactive and energetic team member who enjoys working with clients and can help define, build, test, and deploy the right solution. You will work directly with Federal Special Agents and Analysts tasked by the client's agency with creating or modernizing IT solutions used by Law Enforcement and back-office personnel. The position is primarily remote, but employees may occasionally need to come into the Arlington office for meetings, picking up/dropping off GFE, and fingerprinting/badge issuance/renewal.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer
- Meet regularly with customers (project stakeholders) to collect, refine, and document requirements for custom software applications
- Enter detailed requirements for work items (Epics, Features, User Stories) into the Microsoft Azure DevOps Product Backlog
- Expert at writing user stories and testable acceptance criteria
- Create visual aids, workflow diagrams, wireframes, or other instructive artifacts to aid in the requirements definition process
Quality Assurance Tester
- Write and execute use cases and test scripts/plans
- Work with customers (project stakeholders) to assist in their User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Business Development / Marketing / Social Media
- Attend conferences, road shows, and other opportunities to learn, network, and seek future business for Kurrent Logic
- Help establish and promote the Kurrent Logic brand
- Assist with social media posts
- Assist with website updates and branding

Must Haves
- Existing security clearance and/or ability to obtain security clearance
- Deep understanding of the Agile framework and development methodology
- At least one Agile practitioner certification
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Experience with at least one software testing tool/suite
- Comfortable working directly with customers/agents without supervision in an international law enforcement environment
