Carebridge Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides preventative and proactive mental health care and work-life benefits to employees and their loved ones. Position: EAP Counselor
Our call center is the heart of our organization. As an EAP Counselor at Carebridge, you’ll provide a clinical assessment and in-the-moment support for our members calling for help. Your main objective will be to provide initial counseling and determine their pathway to short-term mental health care. Calls are most often related to concerns about anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, relationship conflict, and trauma in the workplace.
Specific Responsibilities
- Promptly answer warm transfer phone calls from our call center.
- Assess their clinical needs and provide immediate counseling
- Develop a short-term care plan and coordinate next steps.
- Provide appropriate resources unique to their concerns and situation such as recommendation of our digital tools or literature.
- Comfort, motivate, and inspire callers.
- Coordinate trauma specialists to respond to critical incident debriefings (CISDs)
- Follow up with callers as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
· Master's Level Licensed Clinician (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
· Desired but not required: CEAP, CADC, NBCC or bilingual in Spanish
· Minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate experience or three (3) years EAP experience.
· Computer skills necessary, proficient in Microsoft Office
· Competencies and experience in BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, gender non-conforming, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and cultural sensitivities preferred.

Pay
· $61,000.00-$63,000.00 per year for full time.
· Full-time and part time positions for shifts covering until 10:00 pm Monday-Thursday, 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday 8:00-3:00. After training, evening and Saturday shifts can be worked remotely from PA.
