Duties include the following but not limited to:
- Cook: Prepares various menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Cook: ServSafe a plus.
- Cook: Maintains an impeccably clean work station.
- Cook: Has a working knowledge of diverse cuisine and has a passion for food.
- Cook: Has a working knowledge of kitchens, equipment, food production, sanitation and food safety.
- Cook: Fine dining and banquet experience also a plus.
- Listening: Cooks need to be able to hear and understand specific instructions from their chefs.
- Manual Dexterity: Cooks will be using their hands to prep food, cut proteins, and work in assigned areas preparing specific menu items as well as other tasks.
- Stamina: Ability to work and perform duties for long periods of time.
- Teamwork: Cooks are part of the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Reports to Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Supervisor.
- Must successfully pass a drug screen & background check.
- A skills test is part of the hiring process.
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
