Community Action Against Addiction is seeking to hire a Laboratory Drug Testing Supervisor. The Laboratory Drug Testing Supervisor performs laboratory services within a High Complexity Lab in compliance with CLIA/COLA standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervising and teaching technicians
- Staff training on lab operating systems
- Maintaining Quality Assurance Records
- Receive and prepare urine aliquots for testing
- Prepare Indiko analyzer for testing
- Identify urine aliquots by batch for computer download using Midlynx
- Operate Indiko analyzer during testing
- Perform operator maintenance functions on Indiko analyzer
- Prepare quality control, maintenance, reagent and other equipment records to document proper execution of procedures in each of these areas Review and document proper execution of testing procedures
- Release properly reviewed results to Midlynx
- Order reagents and supplies as needed
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all client information.
- Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be qualified for one of the following to be considered for the Lab Supervisor.
- Qualifies as a Director for high-complexity testing;
- Qualified as a Technical Supervisor for high complexity testing;
- Doctoral degree in clinical laboratory science or chemical, physical or biological science with 1 year training and experience in high-complexity testing;
- Master's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training and experience in high-complexity testing;
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training and experience in high complexity testing;
- Hold an Associate degree in medical laboratory technology (or pulmonary function) and 2 years laboratory (or blood gas analysis) training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing
Appropriate training/experience as specified in 42CFR493.1423

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
